<p>An apparatus and a concomitant method for packetizing significance-based information to improve error resilience is disclosed. Significance-based information comprises 'coefficient significant information'. Within each packet, the 'coefficient significant information' are coded first into a first or front portion of the packet and then the 'coefficient values' are coded into a second or back portion of the packet.</p> |
