<p>A receiving channel control method which automatically selects receiving channels of a television receiver is provided. In the method, it is judged whether a broadcasting signal is received through a current receiving channel. A channel on the air is searched when the broadcasting signal is not received. One channel is selected when at least one broadcasting channel is searched in the former step. The power of the television receiver is shut off when no broadcasting channel is searched in the former step. According to the method, when the broadcasting of a channel which is currently received finishes, a channel on the air is automatically selected.</p> |
