<p>The invention concerns an antitheft device capable of being fixed on a motor vehicle steering wheel gear ring, comprising a projecting part (16) of the steering wheel (2) for restricting the rotating movement thereof by coming into contact with a fixed part of the motor vehicle such as the windscreen. The invention is characterised in that it comprises two locking devices (4-5) fixed to the wheel, pivoting relatively to each other between a position wherein they are fixed to the wheel (2) and a position wherein the latter is released, and means for locking (8, 9) devices in the position wherein they are fixed to the wheel, the locking devices being so shaped as to cover at least part of the wheel (2) such that when they are separated therefrom in fixed position it is impossible to use the wheel. The invention is applicable to motor vehicles.</p> |
