ADAPTIVE TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER

An adaptive transmitter/receiver provided with a means that estimates the pulse arrival direction of a desired wave signal by using a receiving antenna weight of a kth user adaptive reception unit which uses a control method based on a minimum mean square error reference (MMSE) and generates a transmission antenna weight based on the direction. The transmitter/receiver is characterized in that, when receiving, it forms a directivity pattern for suppressing an interference by other users and a multipath, estimates an arrival direction of a path from a receiving antenna weight and predicts a transmission direction from the estimated arrival direction to generate a transmitting antenna weight, and, when transmitting, forms a directivity pattern for reducing an interference to other users for transmitting.
