PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for openably and detachably attach a lid to a vessel in a manner to enable smooth opening and closing operation. SOLUTION: This lid-attaching structure 4 is a mechanism to openably and detachably attach a lid 3 to a vessel 2 having an inner space and provided with a swinging shaft 14, a 1st engaging member 15, a 2nd engaging member 16 and an opening operation lever 17. The swinging shaft 14 is arranged along an edge of the vessel 2. The 1st engaging member is fixed to the lid and has a 1st engaging groove 22a opened in a manner to be engageable to the swinging shaft from the opening direction. The 2nd engaging member is swingably attached to the 1st engaging member and has a 2nd engaging groove 16a opening in a manner to be engageable to the swinging shaft from the opening direction when swung to the opening posture and engageable to the swinging shaft from a direction different from the 1st engaging groove when swung to the engaging posture. The 2nd engaging member is swung from the opening posture to the engaging posture when engaged with the swinging shaft. The opening operation member restricts the swing of the 2nd engaging member to the side of the opening posture.
