PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear seat for vehicle wherein the area for an extended part of a cargo room floor surface is ensured, and also, even when a back rest is arranged at a reclining position, the comfortability is ensured. SOLUTION: A back rest 30 of a rear seat 10 is made rotatable around a first rotating shaft R1, and at the end part of the back rest 30, a side base 50 which is rotatable around a second rotating shaft R2, and an arm rest 60 which is rotatable around a third rotating shaft R3 are arranged in a manner to be superposed. When the back rest 30 is arranged at a reclining position, the surface 30a of the back rest 30 and the surface 50a of the side base 50 are continuously arranged, and the comfortability is ensured.
