PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair of a favorable appearance by preventing a back rod from being directly seen between a seat part and a back rest, and also, easily and surely attach a cover without using a tool. SOLUTION: A back rod rear face cover 12 which covers the rear face and the side faces of a back rod 7 is attached to an upper part of the back rod 7 in a manner to be in contact with lower parts of back rests 8, 9, and to the back rod rear face cover 12, a back rod front face cover 13 which covers at least the front face of the back rod 7 between the back rests 8, 9 and seat parts 5, 6, is attached, and the peripheral surface of the back rod 7 is covered with the back rod rear face cover 12 and the back rod front face cover 13, and also, at least on either one of the back rod front face cover 13 and the back rod rear face cover 12, an engaging means which engages with the back rod 7 is provided.
