The fuel supply device has a fuel pump (32) supplied with the fuel from the fuel tank (2) via a pressure regulator (8), having an electrically conductive component (10,11,12) supported by an electrically insulating mounting (6), for potential separation from the electrical supply leads (44,44') for the fuel pump. The conductive component may be provided by the housing of the pressure regulator, which is supported by a non-conductive wall section of the fuel tank, acting as the insulating mounting.
