The potable water contacts light-conducting materials, minerals and air bubbles. Preferred features: The water vessel has high visible- and ultraviolet waveband transmissivity. Light radiated in, leaves through suitable geometric formations of the vessel internal surface. Water and light source are separated by an interchangeable colored filter. The water is mixed with air bubbles, using mechanically- or electrically driven pumps. Air can be introduced using a water jet which reduces pressure. Air is introduced through diffusers or nozzles. Minerals can be held replaceably in a perforated holder, allowing flooding with water. Air may be introduced through open-pored minerals.
