Supporting arrangement for a connecting device and manufacturing process therefor

Raw adhesive (10',11') is distributed by pressing the components together. The joint becomes air tight after curing. Tubular support (1') for a rolling bellows air spring and the carrier (2') are joined to each other along their respective inner (4') and outer (5') cylindrical surfaces. Raw adhesive (10',11') is applied to the surfaces and the components are pushed into each other with a small clearance or a press fit or shrinkage fit to give an air tight joint after curing. An Independent claim is also included for applying raw adhesive (10',11') to the cylindrical surfaces and curing it after assembly. The adhesive can be applied as several axially displaced spiral beads. A lead-in chamfer can be provided to assist in spreading of the adhesive layer during assembly.
