Seedling location determination device for use during agricultural production

A database (110) corresponding to positional information of seedling row locations is created. A rotary sensor (112) senses orientation of seed heads relative to a plant machine (102). The seed head orientation signal is then used to transform position information signal of the planting machine to seedling row locations. The position of the planting machine is sensed by a GPS system (106). The position information signals are transformed to seedling row locations by a transformer (108) and a database of seedling locations is constructed. An Independent claim is also included for location determining method in agricultural production.
