The arrangement has at least two jaws (1,2) of electrcoconductive material connected to a clamp element and with teeth designed to penetrate the insulating sleeve when the jaws close to make an electrical connection to the cable. Both jaws consist of two strips (5,6) stamped from an elastic, electrically conducting metal plate. Both strips have two essentially mutually parallel strip sections with stamped tongues (7,8) bent perpendicularly to the directions of the strip sections and with teeth on their ends. Both strip sections pass into two connected strips (9a, 9b), at least one of which is curved.
