The invention relates to a dosing device (13, 14) with a product reservoir (32) wherein the product is stored and product discharging means (29, 30; 47 to 49) which are arranged in their usual position on an industrial dishwasher (1). The aim of the invention is to reduce the installation requirements and to provide a dosing device which does not require any connections to a water or electricity supply. To this end, the dosing device (13, 14) has means (17, 18, 25 to 28; 50 to 52) which mechanically take up the closing motion of a door or a pivotable housing part (8) of the dishwasher (1) and mechanically transmit this movement to a product discharge means (29, 30; 47 to 49) in such a way that said product discharge means is moved in a manner corresponding to the closing motion, hereby directly causing a dose of the product stored in the reservoir (32) to be released into a tank (4) of the dishwasher (1). |
