Mixing screw(s) have carriers, spaced along screw flight(s). During operation, over part of their paths, carriers project and retract from the screw flight perimeter. Preferred features: The mixing screws are supported in rotation at the base of the container (1), pointing upwards. There are two screws (10, 11) in succession between the conveyor and rear of the container. At least the rear screw(s) have cover(s) and carriers. Rotary paths of the carriers (15) pass between the rear and the next screw. Screws have differing size and rotation speed. At least part of each carrier is a knife. Within hollow axes of screws, eccentrics operate rods for the carriers. Blades intersect during rotation in the same direction. Rotors move the fodder through, near each there is a flap-covered outlet opening. The rotors can be fixed to the screws. A swinging arm feeds the container.
