The protection device uses a stop lever (AH) coupled to an electrical component (K1) which can be pivoted outwards from the plug-in module in the open position of the latter. The stop lever is moved into a blocking position by the component movement, for preventing re-insertion of the plug-in module into the closed position when the electrical component remains pivoted outwards.
