A cone (13) in the valve seat is connected at one end (15) to a spindle (16) for moving it in an axial direction in order to regulate flow between the inlet and exit chambers (5, 7). The opposite end (17) of the cone is joined to a piston-cylinder unit (23) containing a balancing chamber (29) between the piston (25) and cylinder (27). A channel (31) from the balancing chamber extends through the cone to allow pressure forces acting on the cone to be balanced out. |
