The suspension rail has a tubular rail (1) which is carried by carrier profiles (2) and a vertical (7) rail fastened to the carrier profiles. The carrier profiles are guided through holes made vertically in the longitudinal axis of the tubular rail. At the end of a carrier profile is a support box (12) in which is located a damping part (13) on which the tubular rail is supported. The carrier profile has a tubular profile and is designed in two-part fashion through an inner tube and a support tube.
