N-alkylpiperidyl(3) dehydrocholates with choleretic properties Esters R'COOC5H4NCH2R, (where R' denotes the dehydrocholic acid residue structure, and R = H, a 1-12C hydrocarbyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or a heterocyclic ring, pref. substd.) are prepared from dehydrocholic acid and corresponding N-alkylpiperidine-3-ols, and are converted to salts with a wide range of mineral and aminoacids. The new derivs. are valuable drugs for the treatment of liver and gall disorders. |
