<p>Method comprises extruding expandable thermoplastic polymer through a continuous gap formed among head parts of many rods; the rods are situated in a die fixed to an extruder. Uniform thick cellular mouldings having improved mechanical strength can be produced. The cellular mouldings do not have continuous weld lines in their section. Good surface smoothness is also obtained.</p> |
