The fastening system comprises a staple 1 and a peg 15 which are fixed previously to the corresponding accessory 13 which it is desired to connect to the staple 1 in order to form an integral assembly fixed to the corresponding self-supporting panel or element. The staple 1 has a window 14 in its base via which the peg 15 passes, the latter being fixed by means of the facing, upper edges 11 where the sides 8 of the actual staple 1 end, all this in order to achieve, by means of insertion and clipping of the peg 15 via the staple 1, successful mounting of the integral assembly formed by staple/peg/accessory onto the corresponding bodywork of the vehicle without the need for anchoring screws and in a direct manner. <IMAGE>
