New bifunctional hydrocracking catalysts based on phyllosilicate clays and group VB elements with an amorphous oxide matrix

The catalysts comprise an amorphous or poorly crystallised oxide matrix and a clay chosen from the phyllosilicate 2:1 dioctahedrics and phyllosilicate 2:1 trioctahedrics. The catalysts have a higher activity than other formulations based on a group VIB element. Independent claims is also included for the preparation of the catalysts.
