Package comprises a semi-rigid flat substrate (110) with a selected configuration of sites (11) for storage of a predetermined arrangement of coin values. Each site contains a coin corresponding to that value. A tamper proof envelope encloses the substrate and has a label showing the total value of the package together with an authenticating mark. The envelope is formed from a folded plastic sheet in such a way that access to the enclosed money is prevented without clear evidence of tampering to either sheet, substrate or authenticating mark.
