The invention relates to a practical kitchen utensil for cutting foods such as vegetables, fruit, dairy products and cold cuts. The utensil is composed essentially of a rectangular model body 1 open on its front face E and side face F where it houses in its interior a detachable chamber 2 for placing the foods to be cut. Connected to the body there is a fixed handle 4 in parallel with a further, movable handle 3 held by the shaft 14 in the outer part of the body 1 where it extends as far as the cutting mouth E containing the blade 11 at its tips 55, thus moving transversely in the exit grid 7 in order to make the cuts. This handle 3 also has a small embedded handle 6 that connects via a rack 16 to a toothed wheel 65 of the central graduation system G where it has the shaft 5 inside, which, rotating, drives a guide 13 that pushes the foods to the exit grid 7, where they can be cut to the desired thickness upon pressure on the respective handle 6.
