Waist-encircling harness for a musical instrument, which is designed in such a way that the waist-encircling harness (1) takes the form, in the region of one hip of the musician, which amounts to approximately half of its length, of a rigid curved part (4), to the free ends of which flexible belts, which are connected by a push-in catch, are joined. An adjusting element (3), which makes it possible to adapt the length of the harness to the waist size of the musician, is also provided on this part. Joined to the stomach-side free end section of the rigid curved part (4) is a push-in tongue (5) which reaches into a position-determining, securing part (11, 12, 13) which is attached to the musical instrument, and in the case of an accordion to the lower part of the rear side of the front box of the accordion. The rigid curved part prevents displacement of the waist-encircling harness around the musician's waist. The supporting point of the musical instrument on the harness is thereby fixed. The position-determining, securing connecting part makes it possible to shift the supporting point to the left or right, as the musician wishes.

|
