<p>A motor-vehicle door lock with a housing, locking elements, such as a latch and detent pawl, and a locking mechanism, with, among other things, an inner release lever, an outer release lever, an inner retaining lever and a force engagement element on which the inner retaining lever acts, is prepared in an especially simple way for the protected reception of a plurality of mechanical and electrical/electronic parts, in that the housing consists of a middle part produced in one piece from plastic and of a front and a rear cover plate, the middle part having a central supporting wall (7) provided with only the necessary performations (5, 6) and webs (10) projecting from the supporting wall (7) at least on one side and forming an edge (8), continuous with the exception of the necessary orifices, and various receptacles (9), the cover plate (8) can be placed sealingly onto the edge (8) and, as far as is necessary, also onto the webs (10), and essentially the parts of the locking mechanism are arranged on one side of the supporting wall (7) in the receptacles (9) formed there by the edge (8) and webs (10) and essentially the locking elements are arranged on the other side of the supporting wall (7). <IMAGE></p> |
