Alarm system for any type of vehicle (land, sea or air). This system makes it possible: Remotely to inform the user and/or others of anomalous occurrences in the vehicle; To receive remote or other orders from the user and to act accordingly on the vehicle; Optionally, to locate the vehicle. The system consists of: A set of sensors for detecting intrusion; A set of actuators for carrying out orders; An interface to mobile communications networks for sending information and receiving orders; Optionally, a GPS receiver for locating the vehicle; A central unit for monitoring the system; A programming interface for receiving commands on the method of operation. The user will have a fixed-line or mobile telephone for receiving/sending information from/to the alarm system.
