FIELD: vacuum- tube devices. SUBSTANCE: magnetron efficiency exceeding 80% is attained due to adequate selection of geometry of interaction space. The latter is chosen considering output characteristics of magnetron (power and anode voltage) and possibility of implementing desired electrodynamic characteristics of resonator system (wave impedance and frequency separation of modes). Interaction space for continuous-wave magnetron operating in frequency range of 2400-2500 MHz meets following conditions: <EMI ID=0.520 HE=9 WI=60 TI=CHI>, where r<SB>a</SB> is anode radius, mm; h<SB>a</SB> is anode height, mm; N is number of resonators. EFFECT: improved efficiency of magnetron. |
