FIELD: study and analysis of gases. SUBSTANCE: invention refers specifically to preparation of gas mixtures by dynamic method used in calibration of gas analyzers. Process includes electrolysis of aqueous solutions with electric current that has been subjected to pulse-duration modulation with generation of rectangular pulses with identical amplitude ( strength) of current, mixing of gas extracted during of electrolysis with known volume of gas-diluent and computation of concentration of extracted gas by formula <EMI ID=0.512 HE=9 WI=24 TI=CHI>, where C is concentration of extracted gas in gas mixture, g/l; K is electrochemical coefficient of extracted gas, g/l; I<SB>A</SB> is amplitude ( strength ) of current, A; V is volume of gas mixture per time unit ( flow rate ), l/h; tau is width of pulses of current, s; T is period of current oscillation, s. EFFECT: range of prepared gas mixtures expanded to region of low concentrations of detected gas.
