FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: gearbox has housing, inlet and outlet shafts arranged in parallel to each other, auxiliary shaft with four gears coaxial with inlet shaft, gears, planetary mechanism installed at gearbox outlet, and shifter sleeves. One of sleeve is arranged between inlet shaft gear and auxiliary shaft. Two other sleeves are located on outlet shaft, one being placed between two- gear cluster and gear, the other, between two other gears. Gears are freely fitted on shafts. Gearbox provides twelve speeds for running forward and four reverse speeds. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities owing to increase in number of speed and range of gear ratio at reduced metal usage. 1 tbl, 2 dwg
