<p>Three of the rollers supporting the looped tufted carpet in the steam chamber are held in a frame at the top of the steam unit, the frame being pivoted on one side, and supported by a roller in a guide path at the other side. As sensors detect an angular shift in the carpet travel, so the frame is shifted on its pivot to provide a correction, the effect being spread equally over the three rollers to provide a constant correction to a continuous finishing process.</p> |
