FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described are method of synthesizing porous material and composition having X<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(n)YO<SB>2</SB> molar ratio wherein X is trivalent element, Y is tetravalent element, and n is more than 12. Method comprises stage of formation of reaction mixture containing sources of alkali or alkaline-earth metal, trivalent metal oxide X<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, tetravalent metal oxide YO<SB>2</SB> and water, and stage of crystallization of reaction mixture to obtain said porous crystalline material. Formation of reaction mixture is accompanied by addition thereto of amine acid or salt thereof of formula: <EMI ID=0.485 HE=18 WI=36 TI=CHI> wherein R<SB>1</SB>-NH<SB>2</SB>,NHR<SB>3</SB> wherein R<SB>3</SB> is adamantyl or cyclic alkyl group or carboxy group or salt thereof, R<SB>2</SB> is hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, alkyl-aryl, NH<SB>2</SB> or NHR<SB>3</SB> wherein R<SB>3</SB> is as defined above, A is hydrogen or metal, and Z is from 0 to 15 provided that at least one of R<SB>1</SB> or R<SB>2</SB> is NH<SB>2</SB> or NHR<SB>3</SB>.
