FIELD: ceramic industry, more particularly, manufacture of porcelain products for domestic purposes. SUBSTANCE: ceramic body comprises 70-90 wt % of diopside and 10-30 wt % of glass, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: diopside, 70-90; and glass, 10-30; Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 2- 4; B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 14-16; K<SB>2</SB>O, 1.4 Na<SB>2</SB>O, 6-8; Zn, 9-11; and the SiO<SB>2</SB> balance. Products are molded by injection casting from thermoplastic slip followed by burning out bond in charge from finely ground alumina and final firing of semiproduct at 900-1070 C.
