SUBSTANCE: magnetically controlled preparation consisting of composite iron-carbon 0.5-20-mcm particles capable of including different antitumor agents via adsorption process is provided. Mixture of composite particles is prepared by mechanically mixing iron and activated carbon particles on ball mill. When irradiated by powerful source, iron-carbon particles acquire radioactive properties. In addition to performing directed transport of known antitumor drugs, these particles themselves exhibit antitumor effect owing to embolization of capillaries in tumor tissue and stimulation of hemopoiesis and antitumor immunity by their biotransformation products.
