FIELD: binding materials. SUBSTANCE: two- component composition for production of hardenable gypsum binder contains: (a) component containing fired gypsum suspended in water and hardening-retarding substance including organic acid containing at least two acid groups (carboxy, sulfate, sulfonate, phosphate, or phosphonate groups) and at least one hydroxyl group, and/or inorganic anions: polyphosphate and/or polyborate; and (b) component, containing hardening-accelerating substance including water-soluble multivalent metal salts. The latter form stable precipitates in component b or complexes with acid in component a. Component b can also contain easy- to-dissolve ammonium salts and/or I group cations capable of accelerating hardening process.
