The engine comprises main cylinder (1) with piston (2) exhaust valve (6), inlet apertures (7) and air blower (9). Two rotating valves (11,12) are linked to the crankshaft (5) to provide controlled access during the cycle to outlets (15,16) and the additional cylinder (10). The blower provides air to both cylinders in a controlled manner, for purging and compression using an annulus opening (8) to the cylinder.- DETAILED DESCRIPTION - During the combustion/expansion phase the burnt gas is used to compress air located in the additional cylinder (10).This combination of air and exhaust gases is released into the main cylinder during the inlet phase |
