PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fogging of a sample after development processing from being increased with lapse of time by providing a photosensitive material with an emulsion layer containing an organic silver salt, a binder and photosensitive silver halide and incorporating a specified photosensitive dye and a specified compound. SOLUTION: This heat-developable photosensitive material is provided with one emulsion layer containing the organic silver salt and one of the compounds represented by the formula; R21 -(S)m -R22 in which each of R21 and R22 is an aliphatic or aromatic or heterocyclic group and (m) is an integer of 2-6, and one of the photosensitive dyes represented by formulae I-IV in which each of Z11 , Z12 , Z21 , Z22 , Z31 , Z41 , and Z42 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to complete a monocyclic or condensed 5- or 6-membered N-containing hetero ring; each of Q31 and Q32 and Q41 is an O or S atom or the like; each of R11 , R12 , R21 , R22 , R31 , R41 , and R43 is an aliphatic group; each of R32 , R33 , and R42 is an alkyl or aryl group or the like; and each of R13 -R17 , R23 -R29 , R34 -R39 , and R44 -R49 is an H atom or an optionally substituted alkyl group or the like. |
