摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realistically reproduce the three-dimensional image of an object on a monitoring screen as an image viewed from an arbitrary viewpoint from a two-dimensional picture, which is image-picked up by generating the three- dimensional image of a photographing object by means of sealing the corresponding pixels of one stereoscopic image to the respective generated curved faces in a pixel unit. SOLUTION: CPU 12, a digital camera interface 11 and a stereo digital camera 10 connected to the digital camera interface 11 are provided. The stereo digital camera 10 is formed of a pair of digital cameras, whose photographing optical axes are detached by a constant distance and it takes a pair of stereoscopic images on an objective photographing object from a plurality of viewpoints. In the system, the curved faces interpolating respective domains are generated at every domain, based on a point distance data group and boundary data at every domain on the same face. The corresponding pixels of one stereoscopic image of a pair of stereoscopic images are pasted to the respective curve faces, and the three-dimensional image of the photographing object is generated.
