PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting program generating device which can input the codes of mounting data corresponding to component names efficiently. SOLUTION: Name code cross-reference tables 60 are classified in accordance with individual order companies of board assemblies and generated by the order companies beforehand. The component specification names (AAA, AAB, AAC...) of coordinate data tables supplied from the order companies to receiving companies are stored in the component specification columns 61 of the name code cross-reference tables 60. The component codes (2125R, 1005R, 1608R...) of the receiving companies which corresponding to the component specification names are stored in the mounting component code columns 62 of the name code cross-reference tables 60. An operator producing a component mounting program inputs the component specification names in accordance with the coordinate data table by key operations or by automatic reading. The name cord cross-reference table 60 is referred to. If an identical component specification name is detected, the component code corresponding to that component is read out of the mounting component code column 62. The read component code is written in a parameter table together with the component specification name inputted by the key operation. |
