<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up measurement. SOLUTION: In this electric wire measuring and cutting device 1 provided with a U-turn guide part 6 guiding a fed electric wire W into a guiding path 5b and bending it into an approximately U-shape, a movable guide 5 of the U-turn guide 6 is composed of two bipartitely pivoted guide pieces 5a, 5a. The U-turn guide 6 is provided with a shifting mechanism 8 keeping the two guide pieces 5a, 5a in a closed position and shifting it into an open position with feeding inertial force of the electric wire W on its way of the measurement. Consequently, the two guide pieces 5a, 5a are opened outward at a high speed by both the feeding inertial force and the shifting force in the opening direction of the shifting mechanism 8, and these is no necessity to stop feeding of the electric wire W on the way of the measurement.</p> |
