摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a liquid crystal display device for preventing the degradation of responses, the reduction in opening ratios and the increase in leakage currents and, moreover, to compensate for the change in parastic capacitances between gates and sources, without being restricted by TFTs having specific structures. SOLUTION: In a TFT, which is formed on a first transparent insulated substrate by being provided with a semiconductor layer 6 whose thin film is formed by being in contact with a gate insulating film, a drain electrode 9 and a source electrode 10 respectively provided at both ends of the semiconductor layer 6 and a gate electrode 2 provided on the gate insulating film so as to be partially superimposed on the drain electrode 9 and the source electrode 10, and this TFT is made to have a structure capable of compensating the change in the parastic capacitance CGS between the gate and the source by providing a source notched part 11 in the source electrode 10.</p>
