LAYER FORMING BLADE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a layer forming blade excellent in wear resistance even though a rubber material whose hardness is low is used by providing a surface layer and an inner layer formed inside the surface layer and forming them so that the hardness of the surface layer may be higher than that of the inner layer. SOLUTION: A layer forming member 9 is constituted of the layer forming blade 7 consisting of a plate body made of a silicone rubber and a supporting holder 8 consisting of a metallic plate (angle plate) whose cross section is formed in an L-shaped. The blade 7 is attached and fixed on the L-shaped piece 8b of the holder 8 in a state where its tip side is projected from the end surface of the L-shaped piece 8b. The hardness of the surface layer of the blade 7 is made higher than that of the inner layer. When MD-1 hardness (A) on the surface and MD-1 hardness (B) in the depth of 0.5 mm from the surface satisfy an expression: 0.2<=(A)-(B)<=7.0 degree, the wear resistance is improved further in the blade 7.
