PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high frequency heating apparatus in which wasteful power consumption is eliminated when it is not used, and utilize on/off timing information of a relay just before interruption of power supply stored in a non-volatile memory upon starting of the next use. SOLUTION: A high frequency heating apparatus is constructed with a door switch circuit 26 which outputs a signal by capturing opening/closing operations of a door, and a control circuit 18 in which it judges on the basis of the output signal of the door switch circuit whether or not a heating apparatus is used. If it is judged to not be used, then it forces a non-volatile memory circuit 29 to store therein information concerning on/off timing phases of relays 15, 17 stored in a RAM in a microcomputer 19, and interrupts power supply from a power source to itself. Thereafter, when it is judged that the use thereof as the heating apparatus is started and power supply is applied, it reads information stored before the power supply is interrupted for its use as initial information concerning the on/off timing phases of the relays. |
