PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply realize a grouping operation upon controlling simultaneously a plurality of objects to be controlled at a low cost. SOLUTION: A serial/parallel input and output device 15 comprises a plurality of parallel signal input and output terminal board groups 20A, 20B...20P corresponding to a plurality of indoor machines and having many terminal boards a, b,...q respectively connected to a parallel communication wire, serial signal input and output terminal boards 21A and 21B connected to a second serial communication wire and a conversion controller 22 connected to the parallel signal input and output terminal board groups and the serial signal input and output terminal boards to convert a serial signal into a parallel signal and vice versa. Address terminal board groups 23 having a plurality of address terminal boards to which address numbers are applied are provided. The grouping terminal board of arbitrary parallel signal input and output terminal board groups can be connected to the same address terminal board of the address terminal board groups by a wire 25. |
