PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock ring, being capable of preventing a pipe from slipping out a joint in securing the required amount of bits in a regulating piece into this resin pipe inserted into the joint, and also capable of obviating any damage to the pipe from occurring in regulating the biting quantity. SOLUTION: A lock ring 34 comprises a base ring 35 formed into annularity and a plurality of regulating pieces 36 projecting inward from the base ring 3 at the same length. Each regulating piece 36 is formed of its tip part into a circular arcing form. Each of notches 39 is circularly notch-formed in a center between a pair of adjacent regulating pieces 36 so as to have the specified depth ranging from the side of the regulating piece 36 to the side of the base ring 35. Each of slits 40 is formed so as to correspond to the depth of biting into a pipe ranging from a bottom center of the notch 39 to the base ring 35. At this time, each base end of these adjacent paired regulating pieces 36 are connected to one another via the slits 40. |
