PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable recording and reproducing information with high accuracy by performing a tracking control correctly without receiving an effect due to the aberration of a lens. SOLUTION: This optical pickup is provided with a galvano-mirror 106 for scanning the laser beams emitted from a light source in a prescribed direction, an image formation lens 110 regulating the laser beams made to exit with the galvano-mirror 106 into a roughly parallel liminous flux and an objective lens 108 converging the laser beams guided with the image formation lens 110 on the recording surface of a record medium 112 and, in the pickup, the objective lens 108 is arranged by being moved in a prescribed direction by a prescribed quantity along the optical axis so as to reduce the aberration due to the lens 110. Moreover, the galvano-mirror 106 and the focal position Ff of the front side of the lens 110 are arranged by being optically matched with each other. |
