PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood in which fat and oil components can be high efficiently captured while reducing the ventilation resistance of a filter and the fat and oil components stuck to the filter can be washed and cleaned. SOLUTION: Inside a fan casing 11 of an air blower 10 a cylindrical filter 14 is provided on the outer periphery of a fan 12. By feeding cleaning liquid toward the filter 14 by means of a cleaning liquid pump 31 the area of the filter 14 is made larger than that of an inlet port 21 to make the ventilation resistance smaller so as to high efficiently capture fat and oil components, and the fat and oil components to stuck the filter 14 can be washed and cleaned by the cleaning liquid. |
