PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic tidal meter and spring-tide and a neap-tide day calculating method which accurately calculate spring tide days by regions. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 inputs a calendar from an input part 14 and selects a region, calculates a moon age value from the calendar by calculating the position of the heavenly body, and reads tidal data corresponding to the selected area out of a ROM 11 stored with tidal data by regions, and furthermore the CPU adds the tidal data to the day found from the moon age value and a desired day to find a tentative spring tide day and then calculates this data as a real spring tide day, when the tentative tide day appears after the calendar for the 1st time. As a result, the tide data characteristic of the area can accurately be found. |
