<p>Take-up appts. for an extruded product leaving an extruder in spiral form has a plate arranged below the extruder, an axle for rotating the plate around an axle, a sledge rotatably supporting the axle, and moving the plate towards and away from the extruder, and a drive for rotating the shaft at a variable rate, so that the plate rotates once for each spiral section and the sledge simultaneously moves in one of the directions in order to lay out the extruded material in spiral form. The extruded product is taken up uniformly in spiral form without the formation of undesired and harmful twists.</p> |
