<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a group seemed to be most certain at the time of non-tracking reproduction. SOLUTION: As to a reproduction signal read out at the n-fold density with non-tracking from a tape recorded by the helical scan, the level is detected by a level detecting part 11, and the gain is adjusted by an AGC part 12, and the synchronization is detected by a SYNC detecting part 13 and decoded by a decoding part 14. Then, the certainty of the reproduction group is discriminated by a discrimination part 16 based on the level information from the level detecting part 11 and the decoding information from the decoding part 14, then the group seemed to be most certain is selected by a selection part 15.</p> |
