PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to obtain and print only data on a desired WWW server by quitting access to linked data other than data corresponding to specified address information if acknowledgement is obtained from the specification source of the address information. SOLUTION: Access to a URL on the WWW server is accessed by an HTTP client to obtain text data, image data, and linked URLs, which are printed by a printer part (S601 to S605). This processing is carried out unconditionally for data present in the URL specified directly by the user, but performed for data in the linked URLs only when URL access acknowledgement is obtained. Namely, when a linked URL is stored, the linked URL is sent as an acknowledgement message for linked URL access to a client terminal (S607) and when the acknowledgement is obtained (S610), a printing processing is performed (S601 to S605). |
